Offering Campaign Medal to Dr. Britta
Ogle - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences
 On
09 March, 2008, Hue University (on behalf of MoET) held the
official ceremony to offer a Campaign Medal to Dr. Britta
Ogle - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences for her
valuable dedication to education and research in Vietnam
over 15 years.
Dr. Britta Ogle holds a
doctoral degree in nutrition and she is now the head of
department of Urban and Rural Development, University of
Agricultural Sciences, Sweden (SLU). She has over 30 years
of experiences in international nutrition and rural
development from short term and long term contracts in many
countries in Africa and Asia. She has been working for
international nutrition research and training at Uppsala
University since 1983.
Since 1991, Dr. Britta
Ogle has been in charge of many projects and programs on
capacity building and research for academic teachers in
Vietnam as well as other countries on NutITition,
participatory communication planning to promote dietary
diversity in Vietnam, Sustainable farming at the Urban-Rural
interface...
Since 2004 to present, she
has been the Swedish coordinator of Sida/SAREC-supported
Research Cooperation Project for Rural Development in
Vietnam (RDViet). The project includes training at master
and PhD levels and support to research and networking among
the institutions involved. |
