The 4th Scientific Meeting on Rural Changes
10-11 March, 2008

The meeting will be held at Hue University Conference Hall at 3. Le Loi at 8.30AM on 10th March, 2008. The main theme of  the project scientific meetings is Rural Change. The 4th Scientific meeting will place specific attention on two sub- themes:

  • Non-agricultural diversification of rural livelihoods

  • Adaptation and risk management

Objectives for the meeting:

  • To present and share information on current research on the theme of rural change

  • To exchange ideas, experiences and research methodology on rural change studies as well as research needs on the theme;

  • To present PhD and master research and research plans and discuss ideas for mentoring and further support within  VS-RDE research co-operation program
