Result of selection of full proposals for RDViet 2009

After calling for 14 full proposals for RDViet funding 2009, the scientific committee reviewed and commented on such proposals. As a result, 8 proposals were approved for support this year.
Here is the list of 8 full proposals approved for support:

2. Contribution of community-based tourism to poverty alleviation (MSc. Pham Xuan Phu - AGU)
3. InformalFinancial Systems in Rural Areas of An Giang Province (MSc. Tran Thanh Binh - AGU)
4. Land accumulation situation and its impacts on social-economic aspects of people in Huongtra district, ThuaThienHue province (Mr. Nguyen Thien Tam - HUAF)
5. Local adaptive capacity towards climate change for sustainable rural livelihoods: Who are vulnerable? (MSc. Huynh Thi Anh Phuong - HUS)
6. Loss of jobs and the return to rural areas of migrant workers (MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong - HUA)
7. Spontaneous migration as a livelihood strategy of the poor in the rural areas (MSc. Nguyen Thi My Van -HUS)
8. The policy of subsidy and fare subsidy: from theory to practice. Case studies inThuong Quang and Thuong Nhat communes, Nam Dong mountainous district, Thua Thien Hue province (MSc. Ngo Thi Phuong Anh - HUAF)
These research projects will be conducted from May to December 2009. The results will be presented at the 6th Annual Scientific Meeting by the project in 2010, and published then.
